Interbike is a trade-only event and is not open to the general public. Interbike takes place annually to serve the business-to-business needs of the bicycle industry.

 

NOTICE REGARDING AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING OF EVENTS

When you enter a Nielsen Business Media event, you will be entering an area where photography, video and audio recording may occur.

By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web  casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on web  sites, or any other purpose by Nielsen and its affiliates and  representatives. You release Nielsen, its officers and employees, and each  and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking,  recording, digitizing, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer  images, video and/or or sound recordings.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or  royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting,  televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the  purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or  other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or  sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Nielsen or the person or entity designated to do so by Nielsen.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

When and where is the Interbike Trade Show?

The Interbike Outdoor Demo will be held September 20-21, 2010 at Bootleg Canyon, in Boulder City, NV.

Top brands in the industry exhibit and demo the latest gear for the ultimate hands on experience.  Come for two days of great trails, open roads, and thousands of bikes and products before you place your orders.

Who can attend Outdoor Demo? What are the requirements?

Outdoor Demo is open to all registered attendees of Interbike. All attendees (including exhibitors) are required to sign a waiver and receive a wristband prior to entering the demo area. Wristbands and waivers will be available at the Sands Conventions Center shuttle desk or at the registration desk located at the entrance of Outdoor Demo.

All attendees are required to wear their official Interbike badge to gain entrance into this special event.

How do I get to Outdoor Demo?

Complimentary shuttles will run between the Sands Convention Center and Outdoor Demo, September 20 & 21, 2010. Shuttles will run between the convention center and the demo site approximately every hour. Attendees taking the shuttles to the Outdoor Demo will be required to sign a waiver and wear a wrist band prior to boarding the shuttle

What is the fee to attend the show?

The registration fee is based on qualification**

The show is free for qualified buyers** that register on or before August 20, 2010. After August 20 the fee to attend is $35.00 per person for qualified buyers and distributors. For all Non-Buyer categories (Brands, Media Sales, Consultants, PR Firms, Non Exhibiting Manufacturers, etc.) there is a $400.00 per person fee to attend before August 20, 2010 and $450 after that date.

I am a non profit organization, how do I register?

Registration is free for all qualified** non profit organizations. To register you will need to fill out a paper registration form > complete and fax it back with a copy of your government issued Tax Exempt Letter or Military ID to 949-226-5628. Please allow two weeks to receive confirmation of your registration. If it is past the two weeks and you still have not received a confirmation email, please contact us at ibreg@nielsen.com.

Is this show open to the general public?

No, Interbike is not open to the general public. Only authorized buyers and members of the trade will be admitted. As a business-to-business industry event, we can only register qualified** retail buying businesses in the industry.

I have attended in the past, do I need to register again and if so, why?

Yes, each company must register for each event separately to ensure that we have the most current and accurate information for your company.

I have attended before yet I do not find my company listed on your website?

There are multiple reasons why you may not be found in our online database, even if you have previously attended the trade show. Only attendees of the 2008-2009 Interbike trade shows will be listed. If you are unable to locate your information within the online registration system you MUST re-submit your business credentials by following the process as outlined above.

I’m required to re-submit my business credentials (or) this will be my first show, what documents do I need to provide?

You will need to submit a minimum of two of the following credentials once you have completed the online registration process:

  • Volume purchase invoices of FINISHED brand name goods in the bicycle industry, placed within the last six months.
  • Business card that includes your company name and address.
  • Business License indicating you are retail business (Please do NOT send a tax ID or Sellers Permit, these are not valid credentials and will not complete your registration).
  • Letter of Intent from an attorney or bank on official letterhead stating the intent to start a new retail business (this is acceptable for new businesses only).

 

Where do I send the required credentials?

I completed my registration online and did not receive a confirmation email, what should I do?

If you completed the registration process online and did not receive a confirmation email immediately after saving, please log back on to the registration page and search your company name. If the lookup says your status is pending call the registration hotline at (800)486-2701, confirm that we have the correct email/fax number and ask to have your confirmation resent. If you are unable to locate your registration record it was not completed the first time and you will need to re-register.

I completed the online registration process and submitted my corresponding business credentials, when will I receive my approval confirmation?

You will be notified via email once your status as a buyer has been reviewed. Please do not call to confirm receipt of your fax we are currently inundated with registration requests. We will follow up and/or send confirmation within two weeks. If you have not heard from us after two weeks, please refax your credentials to 949/226-5628 and email us at: ibreg@nielsen.com

I am bringing someone with me do they need a badge to enter the show?

Attendees of Interbike including children of ALL AGES must be registered for a badge before they will be allowed to enter the show floor.

How do I add more staff to my store/company once I’m registered and qualified?

Register your additional staff just as you registered originally. If you are registering as a first time buyer, you must resubmit your credentials.

When will I receive my badge in the mail?

Your registration must be approved by August 20, 2010 to receive your badges in the mail for all US and Canadian locations. Please note we do not mail badges to international attendees with the exception of Canada. All badges will be mailed to the designated contact person. Please bring a picture ID to the Badge Holder Pick-Up counter in the convention center lobby to check in and receive your badge holder. If you are an international attendee or if you registered after August 20, 2010 your badge will be available for pick up at Will-Call. Please bring a picture ID and a business card to pick up your badge.

What if I want a refund for my registration?

Registration for Interbike is Non-Refundable. No exceptions can be made.

Does Interbike offer assistance and discounts for hotel arrangements?
