BOLLÉ drew up a simple plan to create the best possible eyewear for serious cyclists ... to optimize all of the brand’s technological assets, while closely examining how cyclists actually use their glasses. Through long, meticulous observation and discussions with professional riders, a clear set of objectives was established. With superior protection and visual acuity safely at the top of the list, we turned our attention to increasing performance by improving how riders interact with all of the prevailing elements. The results neatly check all the boxes on every serious cyclist’s sensory wish list.

With a range of innovative sunglasses optimized for cycling, Bollé has become the supplier of choice for the Australia-based ORICA-GreenEDGE for the team’s 2013 and 2014 campaigns. This top-line partnership will see Bollé working with a young and dynamic team, whose success reflects the quality and competitive nature of its 38 athletes (28 men and 10 women). Founded in 2011, the Team has rapidly ascended the international circuit, reaching 6th in the UCI World Tour rankings last year.  In the 2013 Tour de France, Orica GreenEdge held the yellow jersey for five consecutive days and was the only team to have two different riders lead the race.

Eric Porter has been a part of the Bollé family for nearly a decade.  In that time, Eric has established himself as one of the most progressive freeride mountain bikers on any terrain- from his early racing days to downhill and cross-country to dirt jumps and urban riding.  If you've picked up a bike magazine in the past decade you have seen Eric all over it.  He has appeared on the covers of BIKE Magazine and Decline Magazine as well as featured in articles on PinkBike.com.
