Once your local bike shop registers to attend Interbike 2013 they will receive a limited number of passes to Interbike by Invitation. If you have not already received an email invitation from your local shop, we suggest you ask them (in the nicest way possible) for one of the passes. The “pass” will be provided to you as a unique online link that you click to register. The link will take you to our secure online registration page where you can complete all your contact information, including your payment information. Once you have entered all your information, select “Submit”. You will then receive, via email, a confirmation from Interbike. Bring this confirmation page with you when you come to Interbike along with a government-issued photo ID.
Picking up your badge is a little like the airlines when you print your confirmation at home and pick up your boarding pass at the airport. When you register for Interbike by Invitation you will immediately receive an email confirmation with a number. Be sure to print out this confirmation and bring it with you to the show. When you get to the show follow the signs to registration and go to the “Interbike by Invitation VIP Guest Check In”. Present your printed confirmation with a government issued ID and you will be provided with your badge. If you have a companion badge (see below) you can pick that up at the same time.
Can I bring a guest or my spouse? What about my kid? As an Interbike by Invitation guest you have the option of purchasing a $25 companion pass when you register. This pass can be used to bring a friend, a spouse, or a child as long as that child is 16 or older. Please view our policy regarding children here [LINK TO ANY POLICY RE CHILDREN ON SHOW FLOOR]. PLEASE NOTE: while your companion ticket only costs $25, your companion will not receive the VIP perks associated with the Interbike by Invitation program. They will be able to enter the show floor at 9 am, but they will not receive a gift bag, Interbike shirt, or any of the associated benefits.
My buddy got a pass from his shop and gave me the link. Can I use it to register? Unfortunately, no. These links are one time use only and will not work for multiple registrants. Instead, we suggest you ask your bike shop if they can sign you up.
I asked my bike shop for a pass to Interbike by Invitation and they told me they didn’t receive any passes? If your bike shop has not yet registered for Interbike 2013 then they have not received any Interbike by Invitation passes. Once they have registered for Interbike 2013 they will receive their allotted number of passes for Interbike by Invitation.
I want to go to Interbike by Invitation but my local bike shop says they don’t plan to attend! Let your bike shop know that all they need to do to receive the Interbike by Invitation passes is to register online for the show. If for some unforeseen reason they are not able to attend Interbike 2013 the Interbike by Invitation passes they issued to their customers will still be valid.

Can I view the whole show in one day? As an Interbike by Invitation VIP guest you receive early access to the show floor, and will be able to access Interbike between 9:00 am and 6:00pm on Friday, September 20th . With more than 1,400 exhibiting brands, you probably won’t be able to see the entire show in one day. We recommend you arrive a little early, grab a show guide, and map out your route. Mark off the booths and areas you really want to see and go there first.
Can I purchase product on the show floor? Interbike is a bicycle enthusiasts dream-come-true! There will be plenty of products that you will want to purchase directly from your favorite brands. But Interbike is a trade-only show, and that means we have a strict “no sales” policy on the show floor. You absolutely cannot purchase product, no matter how small, from any vendor on the show floor. No exceptions. We will have security roaming the floor and at each show entrance/exit enforcing this policy.
However, we don’t want you to leave empty handed so we have located kiosks throughout the show floor that will be designated “Buy Local Now” stations. At these kiosks you can browse products from select participating brands and if you see something you really want just click the “buy now” button. You can make the transaction right there and the best news is the product will be routed through your local independent bike shop – either ready for pick up when you get home or shipped directly to your doorstep depending on your retailer.
Can I try out any of the bikes at the show? Many of the manufacturers exhibiting at Interbike will have specific models available for demo purposes on our outdoor test track.
While you are welcome to bring your own helmet, you can also borrow a helmet from our helmet rental station. Either way, helmets are a must, and you will be required to sign a waiver. While we encourage everyone to have fun, the area will be monitored to ensure safe and respectful riding is exercised at all times.
