Journalists attending the Interbike International Expo in September will have exclusive access to a preview of some of the latest products and newest exhibitors in the cycling industry before the show even opens. Interbike’s Media Reception will look to feature as many as 30 innovative companies in a designated Ballroom at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from 6-7:30pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2014.
In addition to the product preview, Interbike has partnered with Leisure Trends to present key retail trend data to all journalists in attendance. These metrics will reflect retail sales activity for the first six months of 2014 and will provide foundational content for journalists in advance of the show. A few examples include:
• Road (Overall trends, bright spots in the category)
• Mountain (26” vs. 29” vs 27.5”, trends in front suspension)
• Transit/Fitness (Hottest category accessories, growth over past 2-3 years)
“This event will give brands the opportunity to gain access to a group of journalists they might not have connected with during the show,” said Justin Gottlieb, Communications & PR Director for Interbike. “For the media, they’ll leave with some great data from Leisure Trends and having seen some innovative products in a time-efficient manner.”
Journalists will arrive and meet with sponsors at their convenience, as they work their way around the room. Beer and light snacks will be served at the event.
Journalists interested in attending should RSVP by contacting Justin Gottlieb at email@example.com.
A limited number of sponsorship table opportunities are available for the Media Reception and can be purchased directly through Interbike. Contact Andria Klinger, Sales Director at 949-226-5745 / firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Interbike returns to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center beginning with OutDoor Demo in Boulder City, Nev., September 8-9, 2014, followed by the Interbike Expo September 10-12, 2014.
