The content offered at this year’s show covers a wide array of topics designed to educate retailers on relevant topics for bicycle retailers.
“The NBDA and our internal team have organized a fantastic group of speakers at the show this year,” said Pat Hus, Managing Director for Interbike. “You can’t overlook the value of education when attending our show – or any show for that matter. Retailers are hungry for information on the latest trends in business development & growth, and I feel like we’ve got one of the strongest schedules to date.”
New for the 2012 show is a panel discussion between executives from three of the top retail design firms in the country – Gensler, JGA and Little. Titled, “Why Retail Design Matters,” this discussion will cover store design, layout and merchandising, and how they relate to making the customers’ experience a memorable one. The panel will be moderated by Allison Embrey Medina, Editor of DDI (Display and Design Ideas) Magazine.
The NBDA-sponsored seminars feature powerful topics including a cycling industry analysis of product and consumer trends affecting IBD’s, selling without discounting, and growing sales through creative service writing.
